Last week’s snow and low temperatures are helping open up new terrain at many Lake Tahoe ski resorts.
Mt. Rose ski resort is one good example. The resort, located off Mt. Rose Highway in Lake Tahoe, continues to open more terrain in preparation for the Christmas holidays.
Throughout the past few days Mt. Rose ski resort has opened these four trails – Galena, Enchanted Forest, North Rim, Upper Ramsey's.

Below are the changes this season at Mt. Rose:
New E-commerce Shop and Website: Buy lift tickets, season passes, Rosebuds kids lessons and First Timer Packages online through the more effective and streamlined e-commerce shop resulting in a much more simplified purchasing process.
New features such as uploading a season pass photo have been added. The purchasing process is way easier for products bought through skirose.com!
Expanded WiFi and Additional Seating: Mt. Rose has expanded its WiFi service in both the Main Lodge and the Winters Creek Lodge. More seats will be added to the Mountain View Dining area located in the upper level of the Main Lodge.
New Staircases Connecting Parking Lots 3 & 4: Mt. Rose built two sets of staircases connecting parking lots 3 and 4. This improvement substantially improves the walk from the upper parking lot down to the Main Lodge base area.
