Tagg™ Pet Tracker

The Tagg™ Pet Tracker is a product of Snaptracs, Incorporated and the mission of the company is to, "...make people's lives easier and safer." It does too. For an animal lover, there is nothing more frightening or dreadful than to have a beloved pet who is suddenly lost. The Tagg™ can also evaluate the physical activity of your pet. Bonus!

The only alternative to using the Tagg™ Pet Tracker is to have a microchip inserted just under the skin by a veterinarian. This sounds good in theory. However, having done this does not return a lost animal.

The difference between the Tagg™ Pet Tracker and a microchip is that a microchip simply allows one to reclaim a lost pet, on the premise that someone finds the animal and proceeds to take the animal to a veterinarian or other animal-based business. The Tagg allows you to track your pet using a GPS, an accelerometer and wireless technology. It also has a monthly service charge. The Tagg™ is a superior product in this manner.

This is what the company says about your subscription charge:

The Tagg™ master kit has everything you need to get started, including the Tagg™ tracker, docking station, collar clip assembly, power kit, Quick Start Guide, and three months of service for only $99.95. If you have multiple pets, an additional tracker that uses the same docking station is $89.95 and also includes three months of service. After the first two months, service is $9.95/month for the master kit, plus $4.95/month for each additional tracker. You can purchase up to 9 additional trackers.

The Tagg™ retails for $99.95 and can be purchased here. What other pet product out there can assist you to locate a lost fur baby? None that we know of. For this initial investment, you will receive the Tagg™ Tracker, 1 docking station, a collar clip assembly, a power kit, 2 months of service, the Tagg™ Pet Family Plan (for up to 9 pets) and a 30 day refund policy.
