Comedian-businessman Tado, Arvin Jimenez in real life, was among the 14 killed when a bus fell into a deep ravine in Bontoc, Mountain Province this morning, Feb. 7, 2014 (Philippine time). Based on the latest and updated report, Tado, who is also known for his naughty jokes was apparently going to Mountain Province for a project.
In one of his posts on the image-sharing service Instagram, Tado posted that he has a long journey going to the province. "Long trip, as in trip trip," Tado posted. Incidentally, aside from his naughty jokes during his younger years in the industry, Tado also appeared in various noontime shows on ABS-CBN like Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB) with hosts Willie Revillame, Randy Santiago, John Estrada and Bayani Agbayani.
Immediately after they learned about the incident, his followers on the image-sharing service Instagram expressed their condolences to the relatives of the late comedian-TV host. "Indeed, it was a long a journey sir. May you rest in peace with God," Angelic Writer posted.
Using her official Twitter account, actress-TV host Bianca Gonzales also expressed her condolences to the family of Tado. "Extremely sad to hear that Tado passed away. Condolences to his family. It was an honor to work with you many times, sir. You're different," Bianca posted.
While his relatives, friends and supporters are grieving for his untimely and very tragic death, Dakila Philippines revealed Tado's project in Bontoc, Mountain Province, based on its posted tweet, he was there for a project titled "Life begins at the mountain (40 Mountains Project)."
