T-Yanks take on Threshers in Thursday Double header

The Tampa Yankees will return home to George M. Steinbrenner Field on Thursday after an off day on Wednesday to host a double header against the Clearwater Threshers.

The first seven inning matchup will take place at 5:00pm and then the second seven inning matchup will take place thirty minutes later. The daily promotion if “Throwback Thursday” meaning that all fans will receive General Admission seats for just $1 each. Since it’s a double header, that means all fans will be able to watch both Tampa Yankees’ for just $1. This is a great way to spend a summer night at the ballpark without breaking the bank.

Also as part of this promotion is $1 small sodas, $2 draft beers and ½ priced nachos all until 8:00pm.

The Tampa Yankees look to finish the first half of the 2014 season on a high note and gain momentum for the second half in order to make a post-season appearance. A double header win will definitely help do that for the T-Yanks.

All tickets must be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Ticket Office to receive the promotion.

The Florida State League All-Star Game will be taking place this upcoming weekend so the Tampa Yankees will be off and will return to play on Monday as they head to Jackie Robinson Ballpark to take on the Daytona Cubs.
