After defeating the Brevard County Manatees on Monday night the Tampa Yankees were back at George M. Steinbrenner Field on Tuesday evening with RHP Rafael De Paula (ERA 2.33) taking the mound for the Yanks. But, the T-Yanks were unable to regain the lead and dropped to the Manatees 2-1.

In the bottom of the 4th inning, Dante Bichette helped Tampa get on the board first as he grounded in to a forced out sending Cito Culver home and putting the Yanks up 1-0.

In the top of the 5th, the Manatees tacked on their first run tying the game at 1. De Paula pitched 5 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 run; striking out 6 batters. LHP Evan Rutckyj (ERA 0.00) pitched a no hit 6th inning striking out 2 batters. With a tied ballgame Dietrich Enns (ERA 1.50) pitched the 7th and 8th innings allowing Brevard County to score the second run of the game and take a – lead.

Though RHP Kyle Haynes (ERA 1.80) pitched a solid 9th inning, the offense just didn’t have enough to overcome the one run deficit. Enns is charged with the loss (2-1).
