Now that you’ve spent 2 minutes staring at his picture, yes, he is white, and yes, he can rap, so let’s go ahead and get that out of the way. It’s okay; we all stereotype even if you won’t admit it. That’s T Post, in case you didn’t know. And he’s a white boy killin’ it out in the ‘Ville.
He’s also the brains behind Music City Films. MCF is a music production company handling a variety of video needs for individuals and companies, with some of Tennessee’s best names in his line of credits, including Lord Infamous and Thug Therapy.
Get to know T Post
T Post puts that Nashville flow behind some pretty banging beats that will bump in your trunk. He’s a young cat who lives a wild lifestyle, but at 21 years of age that is what life is (should be) all about. When it comes to music, however, he is 100% dedicated to making his voice heard. He’s featured on many tracks, including those with Jabajaw Staks & VA. T Post has several of his own songs, too.
The Man & The Music
'Switchin’ is one of the tracks that caught my attention immediately. This joint features C Loso and goes hard. In my opinion this one is a little short, but it is a good 1:32 of musical pleasure. Music City Films has yet to put a video out for this one, but from what I hear it is in the works.
'Gas' is one of the tracks T Post does with Jabajaw Staks. This is a song talking about the high life and enjoying every minute of every day. It brings a fast beat with a flow to match.
'No Legs' is that club banger. Although I’m a little too ‘experienced’ to be hittin’ the clubs every weekend, back in my days I would’ve been on the dance floor getting’ it to this song. T Post starts the song and Jabajaw comes in on the last verse to ‘beat that kitty up.’ This is that club banger, that grown and sexy song.
T Post has ‘No Talkin,’ a song rapping about the life on the streets, and this one has yet another bangin’ beat that I am really feeling. Although the version that I head sounds like it needs a bit of editing, I think with a little tweaking this could really sound good.
These are just some of the songs that you will find T Post working on. He is a Nashville hip hop artist with feel-good beats and cold verses to make them fun to listen to. He also offers that Nashville hip hop sound that separates the city from the rest. He certainly deserves to be heard.
