John Legere is certainly one for the theatrics. This week, he attempted to attend an after party thrown by rival mobile company, AT&T, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and was promptly escorted from the premises.
Legere claimed he was there just to see Macklemore perform, and had secured his admission through the musician's agent, but given the growing animosity between the two companies, it really is no surprise the TMO CEO and his crew of executives was asked to leave the event.
Before leaving the party, he was able to snap a picture with CNET News' Roger Cheng, which is pictured here. What you can't see is Legere's bright magenta shirt with the T-Mobile logo plastered all over the front.
The rivalry between the two companies has been increasing exponentially over the past few months, as T-Mobile aggressively fights to escape fourth place in the US mobile industry. Legere has been a shining picture of professionalism by repeatedly making jabs at AT&T for making changes to their plans that are very similar to TMO's own Uncarrier.
TMO has a press conference planned for this Wednesday at CES that Legere promises will completely shake up the mobile industry. Check out the video above for more information on that announcement!
I can only imagine what it must be like to be a regular AT&T employee working at this event, and in walks the CEO of a rival company. Oh to be a fly on the wall when he is forcibly removed, and without even seeing Macklemore!
