T-Mobile begins contract-free unlimited voice and data plan

Today, T-Mobile begins offering something that the other carriers don't have -- a contract-free unlimited data plan. Beginning this morning, T-Mobile customers can purchase a $70 plan with no contract that includes unlimited voice calling as well as instant messaging and data with no caps or overages. This is definitely a groundbreaking offer and one that will get T-Mobile a lot of new subscribers.

“As the ‘Uncarrier,’ we’re doing the unthinkable,” T-Mobile CEO John Legere said. “We’re directly confronting the frustrations of American consumers fed up with the cost, complexity and congested networks of our competitors. Our Unlimited 4G data plan means 4G speeds, no caps and no overages on a smoking-fast, nationwide 4G network. What this means is simply that T-Mobile customers are going to be able to enjoy everything a 4G smartphone is actually designed to do without limits and without a term contract.”

T-Mobile carries all the latest smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. They will also be carrying the iPhone 5 in the very near future.
