T.J. Lavin BMX star/MTV personality remains in a medically induced coma following a BMX crash Thursday night in Las Vegas Nevada.
During a competition jump at the Dew Tour event T.J. Lavin lost control of his bike,flying over a dirt ramp and crashing to the ground.
Friends and Lavin's BMX road crew rushed to the scene of Lavin's crash to find the biker unresponsive. He was immediately rushed to the University medical center hospital where a team of doctors quickly placed Lavin in a medically induced coma when they discovered he was suffering from massive swelling on his brain according to news site TMZ.
BMX rider T.J. Lavin gained popularity when he hosted for ten years the hit MTV show "Real World/Road Rules Challenge.
Robby C.of Cincinnati commented "Man that is harsh, hope he makes a full recovery, and is able to get back to doing what he loves, competing in the BMX competition Tours."
