The “King” remains uncaged for now. T.I., the star of Takers and wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were forced to return to Atlanta from Los Angeles after their drug possession arrests. The "Rubberband Man" has been back in his hometown for over a week and made his first major public appearance at the “For Sisters Only” concert and expo Sunday at the Georgia World Congress center.

He performed “Got Your Back” and “Whatever You Like” to a packed crowd. An earlier report shows that he also performed days before “at a club” which resembles the Velvet Room in the Chamblee-Tucker area. The moods of his shows and recent Twitter posts do not allude to any of his legal troubles.

Today, he shared a video of Grand Hustle/Atlantic Records label mate, B.o.B. meeting “Airplanes” collaborator, Hayley Williams of Paramore, in person for first time. He also shouted out a niece who is undergoing cancer treatment. He then told his 378,926 followers that he was going “back to the lab,” a known metaphor in hip-hop for working on new music which comes across as an unfortunately bad pun in light of he and his wife’s ecstasy arrests.

Nonetheless, T.I., whose Twitter handle is Tip, appears undeterred. Still no word yet on pending court dates.
