Rapper T.I. just can't stop fighting. This time, he tries a five-division world boxing champion. TMZ is reporting today that rapper T.I. was involved in a fight with Floyd Mayweather last night in Las Vegas, and there is video footage to prove it.
According to witnesses, Floyd Mayweather was sitting at a table at Fatburger in Las Vegas, when T.I. aka Clifford Harris Jr., approached him. The two exchanged a few words before T.I. "took a swing" at the champion, leading to a massive brawl. Floyd Mayweather was escorted from the restaurant to a waiting vehicle. One person was injured during the altercation but declined to speak with police about the event. By the time Los Angeles Police officers responded to the scene, rapper T.I. had already disappeared with his entourage. LAPD has not given a motive for the fight, nor any information that suggests that charges will be filed.
The fight between T.I. and Mayweather comes on the heel of another incident involving T.I. and Game, where the two men were embroiled in a heated argument with police after another brutal fight outside of a club in April, according to Hollywood Life. Earlier this month, the Atlanta native had a few words with Apollo Nida because the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" reality star compared himself to the rapper.
In 2006, a member of T.I.'s entourage was killed in a gun battle after a fight at a nightclub in Ohio. The person was identified as Philant Johnson, T.I.'s personal assistant. In 2011, a fight almost erupted between T.I. and rapper P. Diddy at Compound, where witnesses say that P. Diddy became angry that some patrons decided to drink T.I.'s "Grey Goose," instead of Diddy's "Ciroc." T.I. is said to have calmed the situation by taking the microphone and telling the crowd that he had no intentions on interrupting his money flow by fighting over vodka.
