Syrians broke into a military website and posted a plea and a warning about President Barack Obama’s alliance with AL-Qaeda. Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad has a team of IT specialists backing him up, and they have succeeding in hacking into a Marine recruiting website. The Syrian internet gurus go by the name of the Syrian Electronic Army (SEA).

In the message, the Syrian Electronic Army claims Assad and his military have been fighting AL-Queda for three years, and understand American patriotism and love for their country.
They ask the Marines to be their allies against AL-Queda, and warns the Marines about President Barack Obama’s alliance with Al-Queda. The SEA also asks the American Marines to defy any orders to attack Syria, and instead join them in their fight against AL-Queda.
The Syrian Electronic Army’s message on the Marine’s website also included pictures of alleged American soldiers standing, with their faces behind signs of protest against Obama’s move towards attacking Syria.
Last week, the SEA was able to take control over the domains of The New York Times and Twitter by compromising Melbourne IT, their domain name registrar. Melbourne IT is also registrar for important domains such as AOL.com, Yahoo.com and Google.com
