Chemical warfare is never the answer, we as Americans know that all too well. The Vietnam War is not that long ago and who was it that caused the "Agent Orange" incident? How many of our own young men or women have died or developed complications due to Agent Orange. Here in 2013 who is it who wants to lead an attack on Syria for alleged use of chemical warfare that led to the death of 1400 civilians?
According to Wikipedia, 400,000 people were killed or maimed by Agent Orange and 500,000 children were born with birth defects. Again, how many American Soldiers, our own men or women did Agent Orange adversely affect? In 1945 the United States of America dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, Wikipedia estimates of nearly 250,000 civilians were killed in a horrendous death. Today this same United States of America considers military action against countries like North Korea or Syria for threats or use of nuclear bombs and/or chemical warfare.
Today the United States of America justifies their action by claiming they are only looking to prevent another incident with the use of atomic bombs, or they look to attack Syria as a deterrent to other countries to use chemical warfare. However, based on our own track record, who is the USA to do this and are citizens of Syria or North Korea justified in looking at Americans as being terrorists?
