Syracuse travels to Atlanta to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets tomorrow at 12:30. Both teams come into the game standing with identical 3-3 records on the season. Syracuse will be without WR Adrian Flemming and CB Keon Lyn, both gone for the year with injuries.
Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson said he likes what he sees in Syracuse saying “I’ve been impressed. I think they’ve got some good players; since they made the quarterback change offensively they’ve taken care of the ball and gotten their running game going and defensively they’ve got some good guys inside, they are going to be a challenge for us.”
He particularly spoke about Syracuse’s running game becoming so productive these past few weeks as a challenge his team faces. Tech has also had problems with false starts that have hindered the teams drives so much so that media asked him about it. He said “Ironically, every day we start off practice with a snap count.”
Either way; they are both teams in need of a win. Syracuse has been a tough road team and the teams early season schedule should pay off now.
