Syracuse has an active music community and there are many ways to catch up with what's going on in town. Here are a few happenings and resources for what's up.
- The Syracuse Area Music Awards (SAMMYS) has been in gear and the finalists, nominees, and presenters have all been chosen, voted on, and all that jazz. The big show is March 8th at the Palace Theatre at 7PM with a cocktail reception at 6PM. Get your tickets ($20 via PayPal online) and all the news over at their website: http://syracuseareamusic.com/
So you want to sing in a rock band that has recorded, gigged all over the place and is eying the big time. Check this out.
- Just A Memory is currently auditioning new lead vocalists.
If you think that you or someone you know could fill the shoes of our former singer, please send a current accurate photo and links to any recorded material (both audio and video strongly urged) to wearejustamemory@gmail.com.
Must have song/ lyric writing and some guitar ability and must be willing to work hard to infiltrate the maze of the music business.
