Syracuse University had a day in the ESPNU spotlight on Wednesday as the featured school on ESPNU All-Access. The show featured team meetings, inside looks at practices, position meeting, interviews and coaches meetings.
It was a highlight of sorts for the Orange as the school is seeing immediate benefits as one of the newest members of the ACC. They will be pulling in more money from the ACC which helps with the new practice facilities just under construction; the school is in the spotlight it seems with basketball, football, and across the board.
The show was even bigger for recruiting. The cameras showed of the sparkling Hall of Fame room, meeting rooms, practice fields, and the state-of-the-art use of the GoPro camera on the quarterbacks helmet in practices which gives the player and coaches a view of where he is looking and what he sees.
With current #3 Clemson coming in next week for a game on ABC/ESPN, things could not be brighter for the Cuse. The lights will be getting brighter and hotter as ‘Tigers Week’ gets in full swing, especially if the Tigers remain undefeated after this weeks game against Wake Forest.
Lights, camera, action! And a chance to make a statement in a week before hitting the road into NC State country, but first there are Tigers to battle.
