On Wednesday, Syracuse Crunch owner Howard Dolgon teamed up with Galaxy Communications CEO Ed Levine for the 2013-2014 season. It was announced that ESPN Radio will be broadcasting all of the Crunch’s regular season games and as well as any playoff games they may be featured in. The games will also be broadcasted on AM 1200 in Syracuse, NY.
This new deal doesn’t just end with the game broadcasts. KRock, Tk99 and Sunny 102 are also going to be involved with promoting the Crunch. This promotion expansion is going to lead to “some crazy ideas” as Syracuse.com has quoted Howard Dolgon saying.
All that has been said is there is going to be more than just the game broadcasts for the Crunch. What that entails has not yet been revealed. The Eastern Conference Champions are going into their 20th anniversary season with a lot of ideas for the years to come. Although they fell short in the Calder Cup Finals this past season, the Crunch are still making huge steps forward.
