Synetic Theatre Remounts A Midsummer Night's Dream

Once performed with much acclaim at The Kennedy Center, Synetic Theatre now remounts the Shakespeare play, A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre. It sold out at The Kennedy Center and now Director Paata Tsikurishvili hopes to do the same thing at the Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre. Synetic's Helen Hayes Award winning production team consists of: Irina Tsikurishvili, Georgi Alexi-Meskhishvili, Anastasia Simes, Irakli Kavsadze, Konstantine Lortkipanidze, Yulia Kriskovets, Meg Maxwell, Ben Cunis. All these members are crucial parts to making Synetic Theatre a success. The show is running from September 17 through October 10.

The first show of the season, A Midsummer Night's Dream was adapted by Nathan Weinberger and Paata Tsikurishvili and choreographed by Irina Tsikurishvili. It's a story of love, the supernatural, mistaken identity, and a forest of fairies including King Oberon and Queen Titania. Marvel in amazement at the cast of this production performs this story through sights, sounds, and physicality as only The Synetic Theatre can.

Tickets are all $25 for the first night, September 17, but increase to $40-$45 for regular tickets, $15-$20 for students and under 25,  and $35-$40 for seniors and military. Synetic is also offer a "Dreams and Nightmares combo package," which consists of tickets to A Midsummer Night's Dream and tickets to their next show, Dracula. This package takes off 30% from the Dracula tickets when you purchase tickets to both shows.
