Sylvie's Artistic Selections announces last Saturdays 'Meet the Artist' events (Photos)

A new and exciting art space has joined Southwest Florida's vibrant art scene. The gallery's name is Sylvie's Artistic Selections, and it opened to the general public on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. But beginning in February 23rd, and continuing on the last Saturday of every month, Sylvie's Artistic Selections will host a "Meet the Artist" event to promote its monthly featured artist, introduce the public to their artistic style, and promote the gallery.

Hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, wine and music will be featured along with the artist.

Sylvie's Artistic Selections is the brainchild and a dream turned into reality of local artist and educator Sylvie Degraff.

"I have been dreaming of creating my own space to display my work and also give a chance to the artists of the area to showcase their artwork," Sylvie shares. "I have wanted to do this for a long time and I want to be a part of the wonderful art scene of this town."
