Sylvia Casares, owner and chef of Sylvia’s Enchilada Kitchen, will be hosting the Cinco de Mayo Tequila Festival at her Woodway location from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27.

“We are so excited that Cavalino, Pura Vida and Republic tequilas will be pouring their very popular tequilas during this fun-filled afternoon,” stated Casares.

Tickets are available at $20 for advance purchase and for $25 if purchased on the day of the event. Each ticket entitles its holder to sample a delectable selection of hors d’oeuvres, as well as the previously mentioned award-winning tequilas.

This year, Casares celebrates the Woodway location’s second-year anniversary, the Westheimer location’s tenth-year anniversary, her cooking school’s six-year anniversary, her twenty-third year as a food scientist and her thirteenth year as a restaurateur. Hosting the upcoming Tequila Festival is just one more accomplishment in her favor.
