Sylvan Caryatid is one of the newest "Theros" spoilers revealed today Sept. 3, 2013 from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert "Magic: The Gathering" expansion set in an article on DailyMTG.com. Sylvan Caryatid is a powerful green rare that will be making its way into a lot of decks.

Let's face it: Birds of Paradise isn't coming back any time soon. Sylvan Caryatid is a new and improved Utopia Tree. One additional toughness helps make Sylvan Caryatid a better blockers, and thanks hexproof your opponent won't be able to target it with Mizzium Mortars or Ultimate Price.
With Farseek gone come "Theros," we can expect Sylvan Caryatid to fill a similar role. While it may be susceptible to board wipes unlike the land found from Farseek, Sylvan Caryatid helps enable multicolored decks cast more powerful cards sooner.
Expect Sylvan Caryatid to make an impact in both limited and constructed.
