Over the last few years the SyFy Channel has been stepping up its game and delivering some great shows including Battlestar Galactica, Lost Girl, Being Human, and Defiance to name a few. Now they are taking the 2010 film Legion and bringing it to TV in the all-new series Dominion.

The series takes place 25 years after "The Extinction War," when an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, waged war against mankind. The archangel Michael, turning against his own kind, chose to side with humanity. Rising out of the ashes of this long battle are newly fortified cities which protect human survivors. At the center of the series is the city of Vega, a glistening empire that has formed from the ruins of what was once Las Vegas.

The series stars Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Langley Kirkwood, Roxanne McKee, Alan Dale, Anthony Head, Luke Allen-Gale, Shivani Ghai, Rosalind Halstead, and Carl Beukes.

Prepare for the war to spill out of Heaven and onto Earth when Dominion premieres on June 19th on SyFy.
