SXSW selection ‘Housebound’ gets US distribution

Premiering at the South by Southwest Festival back in March was the horror comedy Housebound which is a raunchy looking atmospheric horror comedy flick. The story involves Kylie Bucknell (Morgana O’Reilly) who is forced to return to her parents house which she thinks is haunted. As soon as she returns home she started visioning supernatural occurrences and also has to deal with an unruly mother (Rima Te Wiata). This kiwi horror comedy looks like tons of fun and we the first still and a teaser clip from SXSW . Housebound is directed by Gerard Johnstone and stars Morgana O’Reilly, Rima Te Wiata and Glen-Paul Waru. The film has been acquired by XLrator Media in deal with XYZ Films.
