One of music's biggest weeks kicks off today in Austin, Texas with the 27th annual South by Southwest Music and Media Conference, the music part of a festival trifecta that aims to converge the best and brightest in music, film, and technology ("Interactive").
The music conference alone, this year from March 12 to March 17, drives over 19,000 industry professionals and music lovers to Texas to get educated, get inspired, and connect with each other through panels, parties, and performances.
With 2,286 various acts representing 49 different countries and performing at over 100 venues covering downtown Austin, we don't dare to diminish this monumental function by attempting to list highlights--but rest assured there is something for everyone.
