What's nice about this schedule is that it is not a regurgitation of the films that played at this year's Sundance. Sure, there are a few films that will be presented at both events, but the line-up allows many new and exciting features to share in a distinct spotlight. Instead of being linked to Sundance, they will always be associated with SXSW, and that is a special honor within the film community.
The schedule incorporates a diverse group of films that range from the avant-garde and the experimental, to comedies featuring main stream stars, as well as documentaries that cover the globe.
