With the flu and swine flu season upon us, knowing where to go for up to the minute information is as important as being immunized. If you're a homecare worker or in the healthcare industry, it's part of you job to stay updated.
Below are a list of resources and a brief description of each:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC.gov) is your best bet to find updates on swine flu and influenza.
Within the CDC.gov, there's a webpage called Fluview which gives a week-by-week update on the spread of confirmed flu and swine flu cases.
If you're planning on traveling, check the CDC Travel website page for updates on any delays due you may encounter due to Swine Flu.
The American Lung Association has a nice website for locating flu shots in your area.
