The Fifth Annual SWINE Festival will be held June 4th near the lake on the Ankeny DMACC Campus (2006 South Ankeny Boulevard). SWINE is billed as “Iowa’s Premier Pork and Wine Event” and features pork dishes from some of Central Iowa’s top chefs complemented by wines from Iowa wineries. There will also be some non-Iowa wines available. The event takes place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., rain or shine. (The event will be held in Building #7 in the case of rain.) Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the event. The ticket entitles a guest to a bottle of wine (of their choosing), a commemorative wine glass, and unlimited pork and wine samples. There will also be free live entertainment. $20 tickets are available for guests age 7-20, or who are designated drivers, that allow those guests just the unlimited pork samples.
