"World of Warcraft" players have seen a sparkle pony, a stone cat, and a golden dragon in the Blizzard Store. Today, though, a new addition has arrived unlike any before it. The Swift Windsteed is now available for $25 in the Blizzard Store.
The Swift Windsteed seems to be based off of the Qilin or Kirin, a mythical animal popular in several East Asian cultures. The Blizzard incarnation appears as goat-like creature with pronounced horns and protective armor.
The mount will adjust to any riding speed like all Blizzard Store mounts. Players can start using the mount at level 20 as a ground mount and at 60 it will take to the skies upon a cloud as a flying mount.
