Swift slams Tina Fey and Amy Poehler: Actress responds to criticism

Most people tend to think of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as two of television's funniest ladies, but apparently Taylor Swift is not as big a fan. The two took a swipe at Taylor during the Golden Globes, and this week news broke that Swift slams Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the dig in her new Vanity Fair article. Now Poehler is responding, and The Hollywood Reporter shared the details on March 5.

In the Vanity Fair article, Taylor Swift slams Tina Fey and Amy Poehler by saying, “You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people, because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.'” The original quote actually comes from Madeleine Albright. THR reached out to Amy Poehler, who did what she always does: found a way to laugh about this one.

Poehler responded, “Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl.” Amy adds, however, “That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.” The dig was a joke about how Taylor Swift should stay away from Michael J. Fox's son and how Swift could perhaps use a bit of alone time. The joke came shortly after the singer's latest split, this round from One Direction singer Harry Styles.

What do you think of the interview segment from the Vanity Fair article where Swift slams Tina Fey and Amy Poehler? Do you think Poehler's response hit the right note?
