SweetWater Brewing Company (Atlanta, Georgia) will have two new offerings on shelves this month with the release of their new Take Two Pils and the return of Waterkeeper Hefeweizen.

The newest addition to SweetWater Brewing Company's year-round lineup is Take Two Pils. This tasty pilsner boasts spicy, earthy, and floral notes thanks to being brewed and dry-hopped with Saaz, Styrian Golding and Mt. Hood hops. The malt bill consisting of Pilsner, Munich and Carapils rounds things off to create a crisp, clean body. The final product is an easy drinking, 5.5% ABV lager that is perfect for any time of year or occasion. For a little more information, here's the brewery's description:

Take Two Pils is a step into an alternate reality for SweetWater, a head-first dive down the rabbit hole into the Wonderland world of lagers. This adventurous golden blonde German style pilsner is brewed with a mad hatter’s dose of spicy floral hops. It’s beautifully Bohemian in body, earthy in soul, and it’s moving low. Go ask Alice, I think she’ll know.

Take Two Pils will be available by the end of June on draft and in six-packs of 12 oz. bottles, but you can find it now in the summer edition of the Tackle Box mixed 12-pack.

Joining Take Two Pils on shelves this month will be SweetWater's returning Catch & Release seasonal, Waterkeeper Hefeweizen. This summertime favorite delivers "banana and clove notes from the Bavarian Hefeweizen yeast and finish(es) with a hint of lemon." At 5.7% ABV, Waterkeeper Hefeweizen is light enough to drink all day.

Waterkeeper Hefeweizen first came to us in 2011 as an extension of SweetWater's Save Our Water campaign, an effort to raise funds and awareness for Waterkeeper Alliance programs throughout the brewery's Southeastern distribution area. Since the campaign's inception nearly nine years ago, SweetWater has helped raise over $700,000 for the cause to preserve our rivers, streams, and coastlines. The release of Waterkeeper Hefeweizen marks the official start of the brewery's Save Our Water campaign each summer, and this beer is available now on draft, in six-packs of 12 oz. bottles, and in the summer edition of the Tackle Box mixed 12-pack.

If you are in the market for beers to enjoy after working in the yard or while grilling on the back porch, SweetWater has two great options for you right here. You can expect to find Take Two Pils and Waterkeeper Hefeweizen wherever you normally find SweetWater products throughout their distribution area in Alabama and across the Southeast. Take Two Pils is in it for the long haul, but be warned that Waterkeeper Hefeweizen will only be around during the summer months. Prost!
