Lady's Hope Dog Rescue in Seattle, Wash., has been working to find a foster home for a sight-impaired dog named "Frankie," for quite some time, but nobody, as of yet, has stepped forward to help.
Now, Frankie is in danger of losing his life if a foster home cannot be secured soon.
The rescue agency shared the following information on Saturday:
These are two words we hoped we'd never see together. Now, the clock is ticking. We've been told Frankie must be out of his shelter by 1/19.
Even though Frankie has impaired vision, it does little to slow him down. The rescue agency shared the following about this sweet, five-year-old dog:
I can see shadows and movement, I map my environment and navigate it well! I'm a joyful and sweet little man, I'll climb right up in your lap and give you kisses!
Frankie enjoys tennis balls, car rides, belly rubs and he adores people - unfortunately, the one sticking point which seems to be holding up potential foster homes is the fact that he should be an only dog.
Lady's Hope Dog Rescue is hopeful that there is one person out there who has a soft bed and room in their heart for Frankie, before his time runs out.
