Sweet retriever mix, owner surrender for fleas, is out of time at GCACS

According to their Facebook: Greenville County Pet Rescue wall, this dog is out of time, and may be euthanized at any time now. This Facebook thread tells his story.

Tanner, a 4-year-old retriever mix, was an owner surrender. Their excuse: Tanner has fleas! As if this wasn't tragic enough, Tanner has also tested heartworm positive. Otherwise, he's a healthy dog, and has already been neutered.

Unfortunately this dog friendly, people friendly boy will die unless a rescue is willing to step up and save his life. The information on Tanner is listed below. If you can help him, please email petrescue@greenvillecounty.org. Be sure to put his name and ID number in the subject line.
