Sweet praline crunch bars

I'm always looking for new desserts to bring to gatherings with friends. Bars are great to bring for groups because they serve plenty of people and are easy to bring and serve. Brownies are an easy go-to bar, but it's nice to bring something unique. This recipe for Praline Crunch bars is very easy to make and fast, which immediately caught my attention.

The bars start with a refrigerated cookie dough crust, you can't get much easier than that. After baking, you simply top chocolate chips and Heath. The end result is a perfectly sweet cookie crust topped with rich chocolate. They are light, yet decadent.

Praline Crunch Bars1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup Heath chips
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350º.

Press sugar cookie dough into the bottom of a 9 x 13" pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Immediately after taking the pan out of the oven, sprinkle the bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips over top. Allow to sit for 5 minutes and then spread melted chips over the cookie crust. Sprinkle with Heath chips and pecans.

Allow to cool before cutting.
