Sweet 'lap-dog' shepherd left behind when owners moved

Update 7/29/14: Hailey was adopted!

Screen shot

On July 10, a beautiful German shepherd named "Hailey," arrived to the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control facility in Downey, Calif.

The young dog, who is truly just a pup at one year of age, lost her home when her family moved and decided, for reasons unknown, to make their journey without her. Shelter volunteers have noted that Hailey is a submissive, sweet-natured girl who loves being a "lap-dog."

In a recent video taken at the facility, Hailey is snuggled on a lap, looking for all intents and purposes, to be calm and content. The woman speaking on the video has indicated that Hailey gets along with other dogs and is non-reactive to is believed that Hailey would meld well into most households given her easy-going nature.

The same sentiment is repeated time and again in the video..."we love her," and she is "so easy."

Please take a moment to network this beautiful dog's information - somewhere out there is the perfect family who will be incredibly lucky to call this dog their own.
