A sweet indoor cat managed to escape from her home, and her family is desperate to find her, Facebook: Pets Lost and Found in Upstate South Carolina reported March 9.

Her owner, Jennair Gerardot says Gypsy is strictly an indoor cat. She's declawed on her front paws, and is also microchipped. Gypsy went missing from the Redglobe Court area of Simpsonville near Orchard Park around 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening.

Gypsy weighs a bit over seven pounds, and is a gray and white short hair. She has some rusty brown spots and black tiger stripes, and a raccoon-like tail. Gypsy also has some bald spots on her rump from a recent allergy.

Jennair says Gypsy is afraid of strangers, and may not come to you if you call for her. Please call Jennair at 864-248-0076, and be sure to share Gypsy with any friends in the Simpsonville area.

Social networking is responsible for reuniting many pet owners with their missing pets. Let's get Gypsy home where she belongs.
