With Valentine’s Day being about romance, Aksys Games today announced that they will be bringing the puzzle-filled romantic visual novel “Sweet Fuse: At Your Side” to North America for the Sony PSP later this year.
Developed by the Idea Factory Otomate Studio, “Sweet Fuse: At Your Side” follows Saki Inafune, the niece of game developer Keiji Inafune, who participates in a deadly series of games created by the evil Count Hogstein, in order to save her uncle. Hogstein takes Saki’s uncle and the rest of his new theme park’s management hostage and in order to save them, Saki must take part in an explosive game.
“Sweet Fuse: At Your Side” will offer 14 different endings, allowing for over 30 hours of gameplay. Players will have to solve dangerous puzzles and choose from a variety of unique interactions in order to save Saki’s uncle and possibly find love with one of her fellow participants, all of whom are available bachelors.
No official release date was given, but the official site does list “Sweet Fuse: At Your Side” for release on the Sony PSP in the summer of 2013. You can see some screenshots from the game in the slideshow up top.
