If you love the taste of bacon but don’t want all of the fat and calories associated with it, then try Sweet Earth Natural Foods’ new meat-free, non-frozen bacon product.

The high protein refrigerated product features the taste and texture of real bacon but has 75 percent less fat and 57 percent fewer calories than pork as it is made with plant-based hickory and sage. It’s also healthier and more natural than its fattier counterpart, free of nitrates, cholesterol and preservatives, is low in saturated fat, and contains 10 grams of protein, only 90 calories and just 160 milligrams of sodium per serving.

The heart-healthy protein comes from all-natural, farm-fresh ingredients such as seitan, red beans, smoked paprika, natural hickory smoke, soy sauce, sea salt, coconut oil, maple syrup, sage and rosemary.

They also offer a delicious line of gourmet-grain Veggie Burgers as well as a new Middle Eastern-inspired Za’atar Veggie Burger and a Marigold Tea Sesame Square, an addition to its energy bar line. They line also includes internationally-themed and hand-crafted burritos; seitan; soups and vegan pies.
