Chadley, a doxie mix, was turned in by his owner after being attacked by another dog. His family couldn't afford to take him to the vet for treatment of multiple puncture wounds to his neck and groim. Chadley was also in a lot of pain, as well as being in shock.
Paws to the Rescue is making sure Chadley gets the care he needs. Unfortunately, he has a few problems in addition to his injuries. He spent the weekend at the vet's office, and is doing much better.
The vet discovered the three to four year old boy is heartworm positive (lyme negative). This means an additional $425 will be needed for his vet bill and meds, and $225 for heartworm treatment.
The rescue has started a donation webpage here, where only $300 out of $850 needed has been raised since April 24.
Please share Chadley with friends, and spare a few dollars if you can. Paws to the Rescue is doing everything in their power to see this poor boy recovers, at which time they can find him a forever home.
