This sweet girl is looking for a forever home after living on the streets of South Los Angeles, Facebook: Cloud Nyne reported March 31.
Pearl belonged with a homeless couple who wanted the best home possible for their little dog. Cloud Nine, who is a permanent fixture to helping the homeless and their pets in South L.A., promised the family she would search for a good family to take her in.
Pearl is around six years old and hasn't been spayed. She most likely needs full vetting as well, since it's unsure what vaccinations Pearl has received.
Getting her the veterinary care she needs is top priority. Health issues are the reason it would be best for a rescue to take her. They can get her treated before finding a forever home
This girl gets along with other dogs and cats, but prefers to be alone.
Pearl is also very scared right now. Living on the street and the pain caused by her many health problems are taking their toll.
The good news is Hope For Paws Rescue in South Los Angeles will cover all medical expenses for Pearl if a rescue is willing to take her. She needs medical attention, as well as a good grooming session.
Pearl also needs to have a dental exam. Pearl has a mouth full of rotten and missing teeth, and has also had surgery around her neck in the past to remove a pine cone. She cries when her neck area is touched, and her fur is matted with fleas.
Several have expressed the desire to take Pearl into their home as a foster parent, but nothing is concrete at the time of this article. Until it is, please share her story in hope a rescue will step up for her.
Please share Pearl with rescues in California, especially the Los Angeles area. You can contact Cloud Nyne at 323-812-9836 or by email at LAonC9@yahoo.com
