An injured dog in the Miami-Dade area is in need of immediate rescue, Facebook reported March 4.
Junior, a 2-year-old male America Bulldog, was turned into the Miami-Dade shelter as a stray on March 3. It's believed he's been hit by a car.
A medical examination shows normal breathing, with both his heart and lungs being within normal limits.
Junior is responsive, but has yet to eat anything, despite those caring for him offering him food. He just lays in his cage.
It's believed Junior has a closed limb fracture to the knee. Due to the location of the fracture, a splint can't be placed on the injury. He's in need of x-rays and further tests.
Junior needs out of the shelter immediately, before his conditions worsens. He's in need of a rescue to step up for him.
A video of Junior, which can't be embedded, can be viewed here.
