Sweet Charity, one of the top fundraisers to benefit the Food Bank of WNY, takes place Thursday, February 7th, 2013 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Asbury Hall (otherwise known as Ani DiFranco’s “Church at Babeville”), 341 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo. Sweet Charity features local vendors offering samplings of the best in champagne, wine, coffee, desserts and hors d’oeuvres.
Participating vendors at Sweet Charity will include Anderson’s, Oh Pour L’Amour Du Chocolat, Fairy Cakes Cupcakery, Choco Logo Confectionary, Roycroft Inn, Salsarita’s, Orazio’s and Pan American Grill, while wineries on site will include Merritt Estates Winery, Arrowhead Spring Wineries, Glenora Winery and Niagara Landing Winery, as well as local store Passport Wine and Spirits.
Event sponsors include Tops, Wegmans, Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel, Coca Cola, M&T Bank, Meyer Brothers and WGRZ-TV Channel 2.
