Sweet Charity, one of the top fundraisers to benefit the Food Bank of WNY, takes place Thursday, February 6th, 2014 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Asbury Hall (otherwise known as Ani DiFranco’s “Church at Babeville”), 341 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo. Sweet Charity features local vendors offering samplings of the best in wine and beer tastings, coffee, desserts and hors d’oeuvres.

Proceeds from the event support the Food Bank of WNY and its mission of providing “nutritional food, training, education and hunger advocacy to over 330 member agencies and their clients,” according to the event website.

Tickets are on sale now at $50 per person before December 15th; after that date, the price increases to $60. Get your tickets and more information at, or call 716-935-6677 (the Food Bank of WNY).
