A Michigan dog is missing, and her family is desperate to get her home, Facebook reported March 28.

Emily, an 8-year-old pit bull mix, is missing in the Dort Highway and Leith area of Flint, which is in Genesee County. She was last seen on March 26.

Emily is red and white and has a scar on her left side that runs from her stomach to her inner leg. She's microchipped in her back near her rear legs.

If you've seen or found Emily, please call (810)893-1965. Be sure to share this lost baby with friends, especially those in the Flint, Michigan area. Social media is responsible for many happy reunions between lost pets and their owners.

Keep an eye on your local Craigslist, as many dogs, especially pits, have recently been stolen and taken to another area before being put up for sale.
