Breaking news out of Henrico, Virginia as dozens of police vehicles and SWAT called in for a 'suspicious situation’ at Glen Allen High School. They are instead being directed to the Cross Ridge Shopping Center at 10220 Staples Mill Road.

WTVR reports the teachers inside the school have not been told why the school is locked down. They are aware of and are verifying the lock down, but do not know the reason.

WRIC reported the heavy police presence and verified through the Henrico County Police Division that no shots had been fired, and no injuries reported as of now. According to WRIC, Andy Jenks, the director of communications and public relations for Henrico County Public Schools, has notified parents of the situation via email.

Local news stations are heading to the school for continued reporting at this time.
