The question I should be asking is, “What is going on?” Are we still asleep? If so, we need to wake up and wake up now! God is speaking to us through signs in the heavens and in the earth. The question is what is God trying to say. Could God be fed up with the sins and corruption of mankind? Is God upset by the secret talks and agendas of mankind wanting to divide the nation of Israel? Whatever the reasons may be, it is obvious that God is getting our attention. On March 3, 2013, a swarm of 30 million locust invaded the nation of Egypt. Yes, you heard me correctly. Wasn’t this one of the ten plagues that God sent through his servant Moses into the land of Egypt because Pharaoh refused to free God’s people, the Israelites? Yes, this is absolutely correct. What is going on! I find it very interesting that this has occurred right before the Feast of Passover. The Passover is a feast that is celebrated to commemorate the Israelites journey as free people when God brought them out of the land of Egypt. I believe God is sending judgment on the earth.
In Matthew 24, Jesus told us to make sure that no man deceives us. For many will come in His name claiming to be the Messiah and will deceive many. He said when we hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be troubled; for these things must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there shall be famines, pestilences, earthquakes in divers (different) places. For these are the beginning of sorrows. These are the signs that Jesus warned would happen before He returned to the earth.
The Book of Revelations is a book that describes what will happen in the last days before Jesus comes back to gather His people from the wicked world before all hell breaks loose. Most people know this event as being the rapture. This event is spoken about in 1Thessalonians 4:13-18. Although the word rapture is not mentioned, we know that this is what’s going to happen. The word rapture means the transporting of a person from one place to another, especially to heaven.
