Swarm captain named as All-Star starter

Today, February 6th, the National Lacrosse League and the Minnesota Swarm announced that 2012 Swarm captain, Andrew Suitor, has been named as a starter for the West in the 2012 NLL All-Star game.

Suitor, in his 2nd season with the Swarm and in the NLL, will be the starting Transition player for the West team, in the All-Star game, that is scheduled to take place on February 25th. This is Suitor's, who was named to the 2011 NLL All-Rookie team, first appearance in the NLL All-Star game.

Through three games this season Suitor has posted 4 goals and 2 assists, for a total of 6 points. He has also scored 1 power play goal and 1 short handed goal. Seven of Sutior's Nine shots have been on goal, this season. He has also forced two turnovers, while having commited 0 and has picked up 27 ground balls. Suitor has also won 10 of the 12 faceoffs he has been in, posting a facoff percentage of 83.3%.

There are still 24 more players who will be named to the All-Star teams, later this week. The 2012 NLL All-Star Game takes place on Saturday, February 25 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo,NY.
