When it comes to trends, fashion and clothes the rule of thumb is if hasn't been worn in a year-toss it. When the feeling of spring closet cleaning emerges, don't trash the goods, use them to barter for some shiny new ones. The Frugalista Fashion Exchange happening at the 3C Event Center January 11th & 12th offers women an exclusive, stylish venue to trade in their “old” clothes for “new” ones. Shop til you drop without the guilt.
According to Event Manager Susan Fleming, these types of events are becoming fairly popular. "Women’s Clothing Exchanges are the latest trend. Not only is it kind to the earth, but it’s kind to your wallet too. Why throw out those good clothes in your closet when you can trade them with your girlfriends?" Susan says the Fashion Exchange will be a bargain hunter's paradise.
Gather the girls for the ultimate ladies night out. Bring those good clothes that no longer fit yo and swap them for new ones that do. The best part? Event goers get to take as many items as they drop-off (limit of 10 items).
