The Red Carpet Green Dress campaign received surprise celeb participation and turned heads at the Oscars 2014 event.

This year, we saw the winning designs on actor Kellan Lutz and actress Olga Kurylenko. Hallenstein Brothers’ Jomnarn Dul designed Lutz’s outfit, and Berlin student Alice Elia designed Kurylenko’s.

Founded by Suzy Amis-Cameron, the wife of director James Cameron,
Red Carpet Green Dress continues to challenge designers everywhere to create a Red Carpet-ready outfit made from eco-friendly fabrics (organic, sustainable and/or recycled).

Picked out of hundreds of designers worldwide, the winners gets his/her creations worn by a celebrity at the Academy Awards celebration. Each year we are surprised by the actor/actress that wears the green, and so are the contestants.

For more information on the campaign, check out the Red Carpet Green Dress’ Facebook page.
