Suspicions circle Ben Affleck in the first trailer to Gone Girl

If you have been listening into the world of movie news, then you probably heard about the next project from director David Fincher. The director behind hits such as The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo will be teaming up with Argo director/star Ben Affleck in the upcoming thriller Gone Girl. Based on the novel by Gillian Flynn, Gone Girl centers on writer Nick Dunne (played by Affleck) who finds himself in media storm after the disappearance of his wife (played by Rosamund Pike). As the tension escalate, many can't help but ask the question: did Nick kill his wife?

The film will be hitting theaters this fall, but you can get idea of what is in store for Gone Girl thanks to the release of the thriller's first trailer. Seeing that this is only teaser, the preview is quite short. However in its time frame, the trailer accomplishes at the getting the story across and shows off the movie in style. This preview certainly leaves an impression and it might leave some moviegoers wanting to find out the mystery come this Fall.

Along with Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, the thriller also stars Neil Patrick Harris, Kim Dickens, Tyler Perry, Patrick Fugit, Carrie Coon and David Clennon.
