If you've always wanted to dine at Sushi Roku, but may have thought it was out of your budget, now's your chance! Sushi Roku's original West Hollywood location is celebrating its 16th birthday, starting this Friday, March 1 with amazing deals on dishes and cocktails all month long, and all day long. No need to rush over to try to get the deals during Happy Hour. This brings a whole new meaning to March Madness!
They're offering 16 signature Sushi Roku items for $8 and under, as well as two specialty items for $16 each. Some of the signature items you'll get to enjoy for $8 are the Albacore Sashimi, which is just spectacular, with garlic, aioli and crispy rice crackers, this is definitely one of my faves. Another favorite of many is the Spicy Tuna Hanabi atop delectable crispy rice. These are absolutely irresistible and a steal at just 5 bucks! For more tuna, how about the Tuna Tartare, another fantastic treat, served inside a light flaky pastry cup and topped with caviar? Yes, for just 8 dollars.
Or how about some Gyoza? These scrumptious American Kobe Beef Poststickers are packed with flavor, served with a delicious soy chili vinegar to dip them in, for $8. For $7, you can enjoy more Kobe beef with American Kobe Meatballs, served with soy mayo and karachi mustard, Shishito Japanese Peppers, a Tuna Avocado Sushi Roll and Steamed Shrimp Dim Sum, which are all also delicious. You can't go wrong with any of these items, and at these prices, it's great to grab a few and share with friends.
You can also step it up a notch with the Premium Toro Sushi with shaved black truffles on top...absolutely divine, for $16, it's definitely worth the extra $8.
The best part is, aside from all of this delicious food, the Sweet Sixteen Menu also includes fabulous deals on tasty cocktails, like the Roku Fusion with svedka voka, honeydew cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple and cranberry juice for just 5 bucks! How's that for a great way to unwind after work? You can also get a nice Mojito, Hot Sake or Chardonnay for $5, Nigori Sake for $3, Kirin beer for $4, and a spectacular Moscow Mule, served in the coolest brass cup, made with karaissons vodka, fresh lime juice and ginger beer, on the rocks, for $8. It's deliciously refreshing! You can also go for the Lychee Imperial Martini, made with belvedere, lychee and lemon sour with kaffir lime leaf for $8. And if you really want to celebrate, try the Deleon Diamante Bliss, with deleon diamante tequila, muddled jalapeño, cucumber, raspberry, dash of sweet & sour, and agave nectar for $16.
